Summer recap: Rose Edition

Yesterday was Wednesday today is Thursday and now it is time for Rose to write a blog post.

Actually not really because it's one in the morning and this is when the peoples use the sleep, but one thing I learned this summer is that I function better at night. A lot of things have happened this summer,
So here's a quick recap:
  1. Fish are really cool. Especially my fish. I have a fish. Have you heard about my fish? His name is Zanzibar Buck Buck McFate (which is a reference to this poem) he's a beta fish, also my best friend. Sorry ladies, you've been demoted.
  2. I went to Philly. I ate cheese steak. It was phenomenal. I also helped with a VBS. And I was like friendly and made friends. A lot of things happened in Philly and it probably deserves it's own post.
  3. Mary Kate got Kiefer after the whole depressing Mars thing (which maybe deserves it's own post as well, but I probably won't write it) and Kiefer is the happiest, easiest, floppiest, cutest puddle of dog in the whole entire world and you have to meet him because I love him so much.
  4.  I read a bunch of really good books, including but not limited to: Night Circus ( Thank you Grace for recommending that because it was so good), The Underdogs (which is a series by the guy who wrote the Book Thief), The Outsiders (The main character's name is Ponyboy. How could it be bad?), Hold Me Closer (which, by the way Laura, I just returned to the library, sorry you had to find out like this), and This Side of Paradise.

That's basically it.
And now:
  1.  I'm going into my junior year of high school. So: in only two years, I'll be 4 years closer to being 3 years closer to being done with school forever. Hopefully.
  2.  I have to take SATs in the spring. (So I should really just give up now and flip burgers for the rest of my life because there ain't no college willing to take a chance on person with an SAT score that is actually in the negatives)
  3. I haven't actually started school yet. Not until Tuesday so I'm trying to enjoy my last days of vacation (by binge watching as much Glee as humanly possible) until I have to go back to school.
It's actually daytime now and I'm editing my post and I realize it's maybe just a little bit complete crap. Ah well, I ave netflix to watch.

Grace, we'll here from you tomorrow!

Gurl please, Rose.
